Autumn Rose

“As the days are drawing shorter
With Summers recent close,
A quiet stillness wraps the land
As nature pales and slows.
 

There is a place of warmth and peace
Where a single flower blooms,
One in which is giving light
And bids away the gloom.

She is a bright and precious soul
Which holds a heart that glows,
A blossom that will never fade
